Steps to Connect WHM to WHMCS

To connect WHM (WebHost Manager) to WHMCS (Web Hosting Automation Platform), follow these steps:

1. Install WHMCS

Ensure WHMCS is installed on your server. You can do this through cPanel or manually upload the WHMCS files to your server.

2. Access WHMCS Admin Panel

Log in to your WHMCS admin panel.

3. Add a New Server

Navigate to System Settings (or Setup > Products/Services > Servers in older versions).

Click on Add New Server.

4. Enter Server Details

Name: Enter a name for your server (e.g., "Main WHM Server").

Hostname: Enter the hostname or IP address of your WHM server.

IP Address: Enter the IP address of your WHM server.

Assigned IP Addresses: Enter any additional IP addresses associated with your WHM server.

Type: Select "cPanel" from the dropdown menu.

5. Configure Server Connection

Username: Enter your WHM root username.

Password/Access Hash: Enter either the WHM root password or the access hash (recommended for security). To obtain the access hash:

Log in to WHM.

Navigate to Cluster/Remote Access > Remote Access Key.

Copy the key and paste it into the "Access Hash" field in WHMCS.

Nameservers: Enter the nameservers associated with your WHM server.

6. Test Connection

Click the Test Connection button to ensure WHMCS can communicate with WHM.

7. Set Up Server Group (Optional)

If you manage multiple servers, you can group them by navigating to System Settings > Products/Services > Servers > Create Server Group.

Assign servers to this group for load balancing or other purposes.

8. Assign Server to Product

Navigate to Products/Services > Products/Services.

Select a product, then click Edit.

Under the Module Settings tab, select "cPanel" as the module and choose the server or server group from the dropdown menu.

9. Configure Product Settings

Configure your product settings, including package name, features, and pricing.

Click Save Changes.

10. Test and Launch

Create a test order to ensure everything is working correctly.

Once verified, your WHM is now connected to WHMCS, and you can start automating account provisioning, management, and billing.

These steps will enable you to connect WHM to WHMCS and automate your web hosting business efficiently.
