How to Create a Blog Post for Your WordPress Website?

Making a blog for your WordPress website is one of the foundational things that you need to savoir in order to communicate with your customers and provide them with important information.

In this blog post, we would love to capture each step needed to create a professional-converting blog post.

Step 1: Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard

First, go to your WordPress dashboard. Then, enter your username and password to access your website's backend.

Step 2: Navigate to the Posts Section

Locate the "Posts" area in the left-hand menu after logging in. To add new posts, click "Posts" to expand the menu and choose "Add New."

Step 3: Enter Your Post Title

You'll see a field for your post title at the top of the new post page. Provide a catchy and informative title for your blog post.

Step 4: Write Your Post Content

Further below, there is the content editor field, which occupies the area below the page title. This is where you will write your blog post. You will type the blog post right here where you are reading this instruction. WordPress specifically employs the Gutenberg Editor, which is a block editing system. To add content that you want to be displayed on your page, use blocks of specified types and insert them into your layout.

Paragraph Block: This block is for basic text where students input their thoughts. The x-axis is labeled with integers, and the y-axis is labeled with seconds.

Image Block: Term Add images to your post means that you should add images to the post that is being processed.

Heading Block: Section your data with subject titles.

List Block: Make bullet & numbered lists.

For instance, to add a new block, you invite a user, as shown in the picture below. To add a new block, click the “+” button.

Step 5: Add Images and Media

Add media and photographs to your post to increase its engagement. Choose the "Image" block by clicking the "+" button, then upload or choose an image from your media library.

Step 6: Format Your Post

Use headers to arrange and make your information easier to read. To add a heading, click on the block that needs it, choose the "Heading" block, and then select the relevant heading level (H2, H3, etc.).

Step 7: Add Categories and Tags

Categories and tags can be added using the choices on the right side of the screen. Tags are more focused keywords associated with your post, while categories assist in arranging your information into more general subjects.

Step 8: Set a Featured Image

This is a summarized representation of your content in the form of the featured image, which appears on the front page of your site as well as sharing. Select the ‘Set featured image’ button on the right side pane and post a new image or select from the media library for the post to appear in the homepage featured images section.

Step 9: Preview Your Post

This will make your post look better to readers who are viewing the site before you post it. In the right corner of the window at the top, you will find the “Preview” option to click.

Step 10: Publish Your Post

When you are happy with the content you have custom-made for your website, you should be ready to post it. Finally, in the upper right corner of the window that is still open, grasp the “Publish” button. After editing, to make your post live, you should press the “publish” button for the second time. Usually, after the operation, you will be asked to confirm.
