Changing the hosting account quota in WHM is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can do it:
Login to WHM:
Start by logging into your Web Host Manager (WHM) using your root or reseller account credentials.
Go to the "List Accounts" section:
Once inside WHM, navigate to "List Accounts" under the "Account Information" section. This is where all your accounts are listed.
Locate the account you want to modify:
Find the account for which you need to change the quota. You can search by domain name, username, or other details to locate it quickly.
Access the "Modify Account" option:
Go to "Change Account" set-up: Once you've located the account, hit the plus (+) symbol near the account line to see more info. Next, select "Change Account" to adjust this particular account's properties.
Change the Disk Quota:
In the "Modify an Account" page, you’ll see an option labeled "Disk Space Quota (MB)". Enter the new quota you want to assign in megabytes (MB). If you want to give the account unlimited space, simply enter 0.
Save the changes:
After entering the desired quota, scroll down and click the "Save" button to apply the changes.
Confirm the Update:
WHM will take a moment to process the update. Once done, the new quota will be applied, and you’ll see a confirmation message.
You can simply regulate the disk space used by each account with this process. It helps you efficiently handle your server's resources.
