To enable IonCube in WHM (Web Host Manager), follow these steps:
Access your WHM interface by navigating to http://yourserverip:2087 in your browser.
Log in with your root or administrative credentials.
In the WHM dashboard, search for "EasyApache 4" inside the search bar placed at the left sidebar.
Click on EasyApache 4 under the "Software" segment.
Click on the Customize button next to your currently installed profile. This will allow you to modify the PHP settings and modules.
In the customization interface, go to the PHP Extensions section.
Choose the PHP version you want to enable IonCube for by clicking on the appropriate tab (e.g., PHP 7.4, PHP 8.0).
Use the search bar to find "IonCube."
Once located, check the box next to ioncube_loader to enable it.
After selecting IonCube Loader, click on the Review button at the bottom of the page.
Review your selections and then click Provision to apply the changes.
Provisioning process may take a few minutes. Once it’s complete, IonCube will be installed and enabled on your server.
You can confirm that IonCube is active by checking the PHP configuration or using a phpinfo() file.
You can verify that IonCube is enabled by creating a phpinfo.php file in one of your web directories with the following content:
Access this file via your browser (e.g., http://yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php), and search for "ionCube" to confirm that it’s enabled.
IonCube must be now enabled for selected PHP variations on your server, allowing you to run encoded PHP files.
