How to Change an Account Owner in WHM?

To change the account owner in WHM (Web Host Manager), follow these steps:

  1. Login to WHM:

Use your root or reseller account credentials to log in to WHM.

  1. Navigate to "List Accounts":

In the WHM dashboard, find and click on the "List Accounts" option, usually under the "Account Information" section.

  1. Find the Account:

On the "List Accounts" page, find the account needing a new owner. Use the search box to spot the account using the domain name, username, or different details.

  1. Change Account Owner:

Once you've found the account, click on the plus (+) icon next to the account's row to expand the details.

You'll see an option called "Change Owner to:". This allows you to select a different reseller or root account to assign as the new owner.

  1. Select New Owner:

From the dropdown list, select the new owner (usually a reseller or root account) you want to assign to this account.

  1. Save Changes:

After selecting the new owner, click "Change" or the equivalent button to save the changes.

  1. Verify Changes:

The page will refresh, and you should see that the account owner has been successfully changed.

This process should update the account ownership without affecting the website or other services associated with the account.
