Access Office 365 Admin Center: As a teacher, access the Office 365 Admin Center using the teaching persona account you were given login info for.
Access Exchange Admin Center: In the Exchange Admin Center, under the Office 365 Admin Center menu, click on Exchange Admin Center.
Export Mailbox Data: Retrieve the mailbox that you will be exporting from. Thus, tap the ''Recipients'' > ''Migration'' > ''More'' (...) > ''Export to a PST file'' items next.
Select Mailbox Content: Select the mailbox elements you would like to transfer via export, for example: emails, contacts, or dates.
Download PST File: It is now time for configuration. When done, select Save to download the exported PST file onto your computer.
Access cPanel: Log in to your cPanel account provided by your hosting provider.
Create Email Accounts: Set up email accounts within cPanel for each user whose emails are being migrated from Office 365.
Install Mail Migration utility: If your cPanel hosting company provides the mail migration utility, install it on your local system. If not, using a third-party migration tool may be necessary.
Configure Migration Settings: In the migration tool, provide necessary details such as the source (Office 365) and destination (cPanel) email server details.
Import PST Files: Use the migration tool to import PST files exported from Office 365 to the respective cPanel email accounts.
Map Mailboxes: Ensure that each Office 365 mailbox is correctly mapped to the corresponding cPanel email account during the migration process.
Check Email Accessibility: In the last phase, check the emails, contacts, calendars, etc., that are available in the cPanel email accounts.
Test Sending and Receiving: Test email correspondence with and from the accounts the migration processes successfully.
Check Folder Structure: Verify that the folder structure from Click-To-Switch Online is intact and exists in cPanel.
Update MX Records: Modify the MX (Mail Exchange) DNS settings to point to the cPanel mail server if you're changing from Office 365 to cPanel hosting from an email hosting perspective.
Update SPF Records: If you like to define the IP address of the cPanel mail server in SPF (Sender Policy Framework), you can do so by the following way.
Complete Migration: To ensure success, complete a migration procedure after you have confirmed that everything is running smoothly.
Notify Users: Send an email to each user whose email account is moved to notify them that their data is ready and explain any required steps.
